Introducing the SMMAP
At this present stage of development the SMMAP has 3 features & 2 goals
Features
1] The SMMAP ID’s
2] The Interactive Maps & Infographics
3] The Hashtag Wall
Goals
4] Feasibility
5] Training
Features
1] The SMMAP ID
-
- This is your online Cultural Identity portfolio.
- It contains links to all your public Social Media & online information.
- It also has links to any interactive maps you have been associated with, giving a history of your involvement in the community cultural events.
- Your ID has a unique URL [smmap.net/yourname] & number, therefore you can use a link or number or QR code to take people to your SMMAP ID, it serves as a jumping off point for all your public online information.
- All SMMAP ID’s are searchable form the SMMAP ID page, using names & numbers
- You can access the SMMAP ID’s through the ID’s page, use the search to find a name or SMMAP ID number
2] Interactive Maps & Infographics
-
- Interactive maps or Infographics of events or organisation profiles, use pop ups to link participants to their SMMAP ID, so that visitors can instantly connect with them.
- They provide historical information about events in our community
- They can be used for research, funding bid, annual reports etc
- As we build more, we get a better picture of our community’s cultural identity.
- You can access the maps through the map page
3] The Hashtag Wall
-
- The wall shows a featured instagram hashtag & a Facebook Page eg #POSE25 & the SMMAP
- Any instagram post with #POSE25 will show on the wall, under the event map
- Any post from the Facebook page will also show
- This brings together conversations usually aimed at different audiences, any posts using the featured hashtag can be easily found & reposted by the SMMAP Facebook page.
- The featured hashtag wall will appear on the current featured map
Goals
4] Feasibility
-
- We need to understand if this project is useful to us
- We want to make the features work for us
- We need to implement a business plan that enables its sustainability for the future integrating research & development.
- To own the Data, so we can use it for ourselves, producing reports, bids, research about the culture in our communities.
I am achieving this through consultations, if you would like to book a FREE 1 hour consultation with me contact me on here
5] Training
“Audit, Repair & Share’ is a 3 hour workshop, where you can clean up your online information, broken links, out of date or unclear information & check your Social Media funnel [How all your Socials flow in & out of each other]
Googling yourself on a machine that doesn’t have your algorithm in it, can reveal what others see when they are looking for you, its a really useful exercise to do with your peers & a person who can guide you in auditing & repairing ready to share.
You will have the opportunity to edit your SMMAP ID & learn how to maximise its use, how to share it on platforms & useful directories.
You will find out how to be included in or commission other maps
These workshops will be announced in the near future.
PHASE 2
To build the SMMAP on a Python based database site & integrate it with an App.
Automate & implement local administration methodology.
Use the data to build site specific AR community information portals, helping us to engage with our culture.
